Kathryn Nikkel was the
guest speaker at the Farmwell Station Middle School Staff Book Read
discussion in early May. Several staff members of FSMS and other
Loudoun County Public School personnel read TRGF, then
came together to meet Kathryn. Kathyn shared pictures of her family and gave a brief synopsis of her family's escape across Europe. There was a lively discussion following. (Find several of the responses to TRGF on the Reviews page.)

as part of the Virginia Festival of the Book in Charlottesville,
Virginia. The presentation by Kathryn Nikkel and Mike Zbailey took
place on Wednesday, March 18 in the City
Council Chambers, City Hall, Charlottesville, Virginia. The
presentation was very well attended and was shown on live TV by a local
station. It will also be rebroadcast at a future date. Check the
